Members get 10-50% off standard rental rates. https://www.consciouscostume.com/circle Loss and​/​or Damage The Renter assumes all responsibility for loss of and​/​or damage to all items for any cause whatsoever. In the event of damage, misuse, or loss, The Renter will be charged an additional fee equivalent to cost and labor involved in replacing or restoring the costume at the discretion of Conscious Costume. The Renter will be notified of any additional fees within 10 days of final costume return. Conscious Costume understands that these costumes will be used in active performance and accidents happen. Wear and tear is expected to be appropriately repaired and communicated prior to return. Care of Garments Garments MUST be professionally dry cleaned or laundered by the Renter prior to return. Actors should be reminded to be careful applying makeup and not to eat, drink, or smoke while wearing CC costumes. Alterations Non CC Member Alteration Guidelines: NO stage blood may be used on costumes. DO NOT cut, dye, paint, distressed, glue, staple, flame proof, or tape costumes. DO NOT cut seam allowances. DO NOT use safety pins for alterations. Safety pins left in a garment as alterations will damage the fabric. DO NOT use iron on or adhesive products including hem tape, patches, closures, etc… Fit alterations and removable decorative alterations are allowed and do not need to be restored prior to return. CC Member Alteration Guidelines: Stage blood may be used on costumes as long as it is washed out before return. Cutting, dyeing, painting, distressing, or other permanent alterations are allowed with permission from the Rentals Manager.
